All Swift assemblies are produced under the most stringent quality control conditions. Checkpoints are established for every step of production from selection of raw materials to final packaging. Thermocouple/RTD Thermowell Assemblies consist of a temperature sensor such as a porcelain insulated element, sheathed (Q-Pak) element, or an RTD, protected by a high quality drilled thermowell. These assemblies are supplied complete with terminal block, head, and nipple or union and nipples, offers temperature sensors with a large variety of thermowells capable of withstanding many severe applications. The engineering staff is available to assist you in selecting the most effective assembly for your particular application.

Aplication Notes for table above
Carbon Steel Wrought Iron Yoloy Non-Corrosive liquid and gas applications
304S.S. Good resistance to oxidation and corrosion; (Welded parts must be heat-treated to restore corrosion resistance.)
310S.S. (Hiqualoy) Superior resistance to corrosion and oxidation. Excellent all-around material
316S.S Good resistance to corrosion, (Better resistance to attack by chernicals than 304 S.S.)
446S.S(Repelheat) Sulphurous atmospheres, salt baths and molten metal applications
Inconel Good resistance to corrosion at high temp. Excellent resistance to oxidation at high temp Do not use in the presence of sulphur above 10000F
Kanthal A Good resistance to sulphides in oxidizing atmospheres. Molten copper applications
Cast Iron Molten aluminum applications
Nickel Excellent resistance to attack by many chemicals at high temperatures. Do not use in the presence of sulphur above lOOO°F..
